My Favourite Teacher

He always makes us laugh with his funny jokes. He teaches us things in life, not just things in life. He treats us like his friends, he cares and asks things we happen in life. He is our beloved teacher, Jason Smart.

Jason Smart was the teacher who I dreamed of. We never have to call him 'sir' or 'teacher', he insists us calling his name 'Jason' instead. He doesn't just teaches us with boring old textbooks, but he also brings us to the outdoors frequently so we cam learn more stuff. For example in Earth Day, he doesn't just teaches us how to save the earth, but he actually takes us to save the earth. We went out that day to pick up and clear the rubbish nearby our area.

Jason also has a good sense a humour. If you pass a class where you can hear many laughing noises in my school, it's sure our class. His ability to can joke while teaching us never makes school boring.

Jason also teaches things lively. For example, when he teaches us maths, he doesn't use boring' old papers, but he lets us learn to how to solve the Rubix Cube instead. I have to say honestly, it does improve my logic, and I finally knew one thing from learning the Rubix Cube: Everything has a formula, or whatsoever.

Jason is not only good at teaching us in our studies, but he is also good at teaching us at sports too. Jason is a born footballer. In fact, everytime at P.E., he teaches us football. He has also opened a class just so he can teach us football, and it costs barely nothing.

Although we love him teaching us, but he can't teach us forever. In 2009 September, we had to say goodbye to him. Although he isn't our teacher anymore, but we will always agree he is a good teacher.

Exam Month

New record in our school. Two exams a month! One is at the 2nd to the 5th of August, the other one is the 21st to the 24th of August.

To tell you the truth its not as stressful as it used to be. In other words, I'm getting used to it. Just two more exams and Poof! The rest of the months is 6th grader's. At that time, no more tution, no more science, no more stress and the best thing is, no more homework!


When we go to school, we go and get fun.... for 2 months! All our classes will be 'Fun' class. And they teach us fun! And of course first I have to face the UPSR, which is 41 days away.

The exams seem to get easier and easier each time, and there is a reason, and a pretty good one. The answer is: You improve! So i have 70% confidence to score 7A's in UPSR. The other 30%, is because of luck.

Well, I have to go. I still have 2 homework left!

Stress...

One month left til the UPSR. Looks like I have to prepare harder and harder... In case of emergency. The last UPTP result was disappointing. Only 4 people in my grade got 7A's, 8 people in my class got an A in English. Hopefully the next UPTP (which is on Tuesday) will be easy. I didn't prepare much...

The homework in school is increasing. Now we have to write an essay twice a week. There is also a new program in Malay class, which is the "Pop quiz". The teacher asks us some question from the book, and we have to answer it. This may sound easy, but it's not. Some questions are tricky, and if you answer it wrong, you will lose a mark. The person with the most marks will get a prize at a certain time. I am the 1st place, which is approximately 116 points(marks).

The science teacher is getting stricter. If you leave an answer question blank you will get a caning in the hand. Sounds tough. A student set a record of 5 questions, and the scene he was caned, not very pretty.

All the art classes had been taken away...for English, due to the reason up there. Ay, all the fun will be delayed till October. Guess I'll have to wait...

Examantion Result Unleashed...again.

My examination result was just known tlast Thursday. To say, I have improved a lot compared to the last one. Maybe it was too easy, or was it just luck?? The Penang Goverment has created this exam. Maybe the Penang Goverment doesn't know what we have learnt?

2 people in the class got the same rank, which was the 5th place. As a reward, the teachers will take some students that were good at the exam to the cinema to see how they make movies,watch a movie, and maybe go bowling! That's why exams are not so bad. If you are the winner, you enjoy; if you are the loser, you suffer (from the cane).

And sorry about not posting for such a long time. I haven't got time.

What here? The exam called UPTP1. Only 4 days left then its on. I'm not even prepared for this exam. Especially the Malay exam, (Both of them) which I got an average of B last year (1A, 1C). This time, the exams are given out by the teachers (Normally in UPTPs the government will give the exams). But this time, the government gets lazy (not really) and let the teachers do all the hard work.

Will at least the teachers told us a bit what they are going to give out in the exams. Like the questions in the math exams are coming out from the workbooks that we had done. And some of them are the ones that we always mistaken. There are prizes and punishments because of this exam. If we get an 'A' in our math exams, we don't need to do all the mathematics workbook questions. And the 3 people who get the highest score in Malay would not have to do correction. But the punishments are that if we do wrong some questions then we will be punished to write it a hundred times or get caned! I'm more stressed than anyone else cause I got competitions so I need to prepare them, which is almost impossible if you want me to prepare for the exam as well.

All I want to say is: For the record, exams are the one of the dumbest things to be invented.

School Starts! (At Malaysia)

And you can call it one of the worst days of my life. You see, I hate some of the teachers, not school. School is great! But the teachers with canes ruin it. OK, skip it, I will tell you my 1st day of 6th grade.

I was late. Very late. Not a good inspiration for teachers huh. But I was a little grateful that I was late. You see, when you get there you have to do a thing called 'Chores*',and believe me, I don't want do do that. *Additional ones like carrying tables and stuff

The teachers won't go easy on us. They gave us about 8 homework and it was the first day!!! So we met some new teachers. Don't like some of them. And they gave the strictest and not to mention the craziest rules Ever. Psst, like if you forgot to bring your P.E. shirt, you know what the punishment is? Of course you don't. It's that the things that you have to correct is multiplied by 2!! And we have to copy a bar, a big big one in our book!!! And This Friday, the teachers tear up their exercises books like the Huns ripping off their enemies!!

What about my brother? He just gets 2 homework which he finished at school. Sometimes, I want to knock the wall with my head (gently). OK, it's not fair for the teachers. Especially I make them sound real bad. Some teachers (from Malaysia, teachers mean teachers from Malaysia) are good, like my form teacher. It's just I turn up unlucky and got stuck with some bad ones (in my opinion). So if you're reading this and you're from Europe or something, I'll say "Lucky You, in school".

I'm don't hate school as much as that up there, OK?

The good thing is I have friends there and I like my precious friends. Also canteen, and some periods (Like Chinese and Mathemethics). Hey, it's not all. I'll tell you later when I meet even more good things.

Religous Lesson-Jewish

Period 1
Today, I've had finally went to the Jewish Cemetery! We went there by the train number8. We've went there after 11stops. We've went there taking peace,calm,kindness and cameras. we were only allowed to take one memorial picture, and only whisper and don't shout. We were as silent as a grave, well not really, we've whispered a bit. We had saw many graves. My translater freind told me that most of them died in concertration camp. After solving a way out out of the chiming garveyard, we've went back to school.
Period 2
We had did a cleanery before going out to break, then we're off. in the 2nd lesson, we disgussed about the holocaust and been given the paper to read. We read that most of the Jews were shot and poisoned than starved to death. Only the men who had work had a chance to survive,25%. The jews were just so as innocent as a lamb. Talking about lamb, they were treated like lamb. They had their wool cutted of and beign sent to C. camp by sheep cars and also beign slaughtered.
Period 3
We've watch Anne Frank's epiode5, the last chapter. We had saw them sent into camps, because of the Nazis. I knew that everyone kept their tears inside,75%, only didn't show them out. After that, we've did a project called "Why do people have to be treated the same". And we also talked about the Holocaust,again.

Plane Attack!

After doing a funky Native American "thing" which protects you from bad dreams, Everyone got bored, so everyone did a plane for "fun":d :d:d after a while, the class room became a big trashcan with shouting which cause an "earthquake". Everyone was taking the plane and throwing at everyone. But the mad scientist(me) found a way to make the plane more strong!
I putted plastic metal things on the plane, and when they fly, missiles will drop out. But when the teacher came, every thing was over. The Grade got so much trouble of the mess!

Armies came to school!

Today, all the 5+graders went to the assembly for a secret project. All the students went to the hall and saw the film of the czech in the WWs. After the movies, A army from Chichago came and said the story about in war.But the best part is, A student from 6 I.d came to stage while the army is asking anyone to volenteer to question, and he said:"Kaisse asked you wahts your favouirte popcorn."
After that, the kid was so busted!

Konichiwa!

Today, I just had karate lesson 1!

The first step was to learn how to kick and punch normally. I had kicked like on the football field :P. But there's a first time for everything!
Next, We learned gymnasium. e.g I did watermelon rolling! The Sensei taught us in Japanese/English. Its a effect of learning 2 things at once. Karate means single handed(空手). Which means no nunchucks and weapons!
Well, That's lesson 1!

A letter to principal

Ok here goes!

Dear Mr. Svihalek,
I've heard the rumors about 25%of parents had voted to against the field trip. As me an educated student, I'll propose you my views.

Firstly, It is impossible to be just cramped in a overheated classroom day dreaming about all those work which could be boring.Children need fres air from those useless indoors. Do you want children to suffocate in a choking hazard?

Secondly, Children need to learn at the outdoors. we shoudn't just let children stuck in those mind-numbing textbooks. Children could hardly wait to go to the nature and study all about the trees and the animals. And also the trees are waiting to sacrifice their body parts for childrens intresting experiments and mother nature are attracted to childrens poems and works.

Thirdly,Children should take breaks like grown ups do. They need some fresh air from all those brain-squashing work. Children are serious about taking a break. As you,Mr. Svihalek are going to stop an habitat like that? if children wont rest their imagination will run off.

I'll be glad if you could consider with my plans.

An intresting expreince

Today my teacher just talked about some parents don‘t want field trips. Our teacher showed us the letter from parents . We have to write our opinions in a formal letter to the principal.
But the bad thing is..... I dont have my letter now!!!
The letter is typing into computer and its gonna to be showed tommorow.

Schooool Trip

Last week,my class had a field trip for geography. The topic is about river Svartka. It is the biggest river in Brno.We went there by The number8 tram. It took 12 stops which was 1 hour.


After going off the tram, We took our notice boards out of our bags and start collecting data.We also study about the traction and the river bed.After that, the class took a long walk at the forest.I was surprised to see a red squirrel at the forest,I took a picture of it because its really rare now.



After all that studying, we went to the soggy benches to eat our lunches.After eating sandwiches and snacks, we went home with excitement.

New school life!

今天的英文课，我们学形容词。

老师叫我们为新的巧克力产品“Real"想广告词，打广告。

首先，他要每个同学讲出至少一个可以形容巧克力的词语。我们想到的词语有delicate, legendary, milky, tasty, organic, healthy, sweet 等等。

过后，老师要我们用以上的词语造句子。我造的句子是The chocolate is legendary that give you good health. 老师把我们的句子改得很美，然后打进电脑，做成广告。

我觉得这堂课很有趣，很好玩

A whole new school year!

It's a whole new year! I'm now in the V.ID. My new teacher is from England. We only introduced ourselves today, and we also browsed the school and play some games. I went home at 2:30. We also had lunch at the afternoon.

Today I went to PE and play one of the favourite games of my life, baseball.But when we started to play it, we just train how to catch the ball. I caught the ball 26 times with my football gloves on.

Yesterday is the last day of the project teacher. So in the 3rd lesson we have dutch lesson.
Everybody was sad.
