Boxes!

Boxes, boxes, boxes on the floor,

Boxes besides my bedroom door.

Something tells me I have to leave,

Cause there is no books, no toys, nothing to see!

This poem is written by me. You get what is going on. I'm going back to my own country, and I have to say farewell to Czech republic forever (thats what I think). So the family has to pack and there is nothing to do accept for TV , Computer and some reading on boring magazines.

Days left to the country: 16

Chocolate Musuem Prague

So, At my journey to Prague I stopped by to go to the Musuem of Chocolate, which is one of my favourite food. That musuem is opened by people who work at the chocolate musuem at Belgium. Then again,This is not just a musuem which just shows choclate bars, But it is a extreme musuem with various collections of choclate, cool info, and best of all, free chocolate samples!

So I walked in the rainforest of cacoa which was not even 1m far and tons of information about chocolate(the info comes at next paragraphs). Then there was a table which showed lots of accesories for chocolate. Then,(Best Part) I went to the counter and get to see how to make chocolate and got chocolate sample, and get to watch chocolate television! After that, it's a path about sometimes chocolate is good; that's all of the muesuem!

P.S. Don't imagine it very small, I'm sure it's bigger than your garden.

Choco Facts

  • Chocolate prevents cavity

  • If you eat 2 pieces of dark chocolate a week, it will extend your life

  • From healthiest to unhealthiest chocolate: Dark, Plain, Milk, White

  • Chocolate was originally a spicy mexican drink

  • Chocolate got it's name by a Spanish who can't speak Mayan well and misunderstood "choco' as hot and "late" as drink

Nata

Nata is a popular Portugese pastry, which was also known as Egg Tart, but Portugese do not know what is "Egg Tart".

I tried Portugese egg tart at a pastry restruant in Lisbon. Guess what? I was so addicted to it's flavour and demanded more. But after that I reached my limit. Not that I couldn't eat any more, but i am banned from eating more.

Nata is like this:
Recipe coming soon...

Nachos

I guess there is not much people in Europe is not familiar with the word "Nachos". If you don't know what is Nachos, It's a Mexican snack, also known as corn chips.

I made "real" Nachos, as you can see some Nachos are not original Mexican when they are add flavoured. So I opened up the 《Fun to learn Cook Book》,and followed the recipes.

I bought a all original corn chips, grated cheese, kidney beans and tomato.

1.Preheat oven 180.C
2.Grate cheese, set aside.
3.Open can. Drain Beans. Turn into sieve. Rinse under cold running water. Drain. Put in saucepan.
4.Chop tomato. Put in sauce pan.
5.Place saucepan over a medium heat. Cook , stirring for 5 minutes.
6.Place corn chips around edge of ovenproof dish.
7.Spoon bean mixture into centre of dish.
8. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 10 minutes.
9. Enjoy!

This is my second junior recipe to cook and I rated it A+. Delicous!

Field trip day 2

Day 2 33%

I woke up late, due of playing too late at the pool table. So, I a breakfast, not just any breakfast, special Czech breakfast-------bread with butter.

After eating ‘special’ breakfast we had to go and change in to proper clothes. I don’t need to; I’m always in proper clothes. We went to the woods and played a game. Juniors, (1-4 grades) have to take a paper and make the two pages have 16 boxes. They have to copy down the pictures copied. The seniors (others) have to catch them and cross one of the pictures out and go away. I caught (guess what grade I am) 10 people and crossed their pictures out.

Day 2 66%

Lunch was something you can call ‘popular’. Its spaghetti; after many people finished it, they went to the cook room and demanded more and more. I ate 3 bowls of spaghetti due stricken by famine.

So I wrote a postcard and send it home, and traded cards in the 2 hour break. I finally battled with the Yu-Gi-Oh (a card game) master, which happened to be my room mate.
He finished me of in 2 minutes, which wasn’t very fun.

We went outside again, and had a competition, who can make the best house with sticks. My team, made an Aztec Temple. It was made of sticks, leafs, cones and mud.
Unfortunately we were 2nd place, seems like some more builders beat me at building. Besides this activity, people who hate building are racing, but no prizes for winning.

Day 2 34%

The prizes were given before dinner. We also played a tournament in pool, which raised our experience in pool gaming. I got only a Package of Kinder chocolateL, but at least I even got a prize!

Dinner was meatloaf. Not so delicious actually. After dinner, Grade 4 and up went to the woods and learned some ways to make a big fire. We learned the way “teepee”. We have to build a tent and then put kinder wood (baby wood) on top and inside to make it burn. Our challenge was to make the fire light for at least 10 minutes. It was raining, so no one won.

At night we (seniors) watched the movie <> which people voted since <> 2 didn’t work (too bad, I recommend the 1 choice more).

Wedding

Today is a marriage of Mika( my piano teacher) and Petr, At the Church St. Peter which happens to be very near the centrum.

Not many people attended to the wedding( by I mean many is 200-300), but it's as grand as other Christian weddings.

First we took a picture with those two couples who are getting married, then we formed pairs and made a 'pair line'.

After the church door was open, all the attenders(including me) went in the church and standed next to the chairs like a lumpy fence which welcomed those two. Grand organ music was putted on. When those 2 went up the steps, which was a area with preists, we went to our seats, but didn't sit.

The high preist standed behind the table which had a book, and started reading about the marriage thing which was in Czech, and also the time when we sat.

They also sang holy songs about 2 times, which was very loud and religous.

After 30 min(Wow 0_o) the high preist brought the rings and those 2 helped each other to put them on, and then they kissed.

Then we made a fence again, and we straighted out to shake hands and gave gifts to those married people, and we got some pastries.

My DIY meal

As I can see all of you who are reading this know what does DIY means (In case you don’t I don’t know why it means do it your self). So, I got my body which was glued to my bed and to the study room and started to research my museum of books. I founded the treasure book Fun to learn Cook book and also a bunch of old collection of dust and dirt.

Ok, So I was very hungry and starving so I chose an easy recipe called ‘Eggs in a Frame’. It looked nice; and I got all the tools needed: scales, cookie cutter, frying pan, and a nice simple cup. I also got 2 slices of bread, some butter and 2 eggs.

I disobeyed the book a bit; I used these steps:

Use a cookie cutter to cut center out of bread
Place butter in frying pan. Heat until butter melts and sizzles
Place bread on pan. Cook until golden
Break an egg and put it to a bowl. Pour the egg into the hole in the bread. Repeat with remaining egg and bread.
Fry until eggs are cooked.

My meal’s image is like this:

But because I’m not even a junior cook, my meal turned out like this:
