Swensen's

Heard of it? I just went there, for some yummy and delicous ice-cream!!! It may be expensive a bit(OK, It's very expensive), but the best thing of all, it's delicous!
There are more then 10 flavours, and some are rare. Like the one I chose, the new, brand new, Sticky Choco Mix! Yum you may say, expensive you may say. But i think it's worth it. Actually I think it's the first time I went to Swensens =.=...
There was this main course, that costs Rm60, a.k.a. 20USD, probably one month of your pocket money(depends). I donno if it's expensive or cheap in your country, but for us, it's quite expensive. Would you use a whole month of pocket money just to buy a main course?? On second thoughts I should not ask that. 0_O
Well, here's something from Wikipedia:Swensen's is a global chain of ice cream restaurants that started in San Francisco.
[
edit] History
The company was started in
1948 by Earle Swensen. Swensen opened his first shop at the corner of Union and Hyde Streets, along the cable car tracks in Russian Hill in San Francisco at what had been a failed ice cream parlor.[1] Although vanilla was his lifelong favorite, he developed more than 150 flavors, which he marketed under the motto "Good as Father Used to Make". The original store sold ice cream and other frozen dessert specialties (such as sundaes and banana splits), with primarily take out service. Later other Swensen's franchisees added indoor seating and offered various types of food, including sandwiches and hamburgers.
Swensen sold the rights to franchise Swensen's Ice Cream Factories and Restaurants to William Meyers and investors in the 1970s but retained exclusive rights in San Francisco and continued to operate his original store (which still exists today) until 1994, a year before his death at age 83. Under new management the company expanded to 400 stores, mostly franchise locations, by the 1980s. However, in the 1990s it contracted to half of that size before being acquired and expanding again, mostly in
Asia. Today the company is owned by International Franchise Corp (IFC) of Markham, Ontario, Canada, which bought the franchise business from CoolBrands in 2006. The chain now includes about 300 franchise outlets worldwide including locations in Asia, the Middle East, the United States and South America. IFC also owns such notable brands as Yogen Früz, I Can't Believe It's Yogurt (ICBY), Golden Swirl and Bresler's ice cream.

No so much eh?

5 days 4 nights at Buddhist Camp Day 5

Today's the last day...

So, I woke up at 6:00, and did the same schedule as the 2nd and 3rd day. But at morning session, I shivered so hard that my teeth are fighting. So I asked to be in the medic room, again. But the boy's medic room is unusable, cause no one, and nothing is in there. So I just have to move to the girl's medic room, and I shivered even harder. And no blanket. I felt like a person only with underwear on abandoned at the North Pole. Luckily, someone pushed the off switch, and I have to say to myself 'Why didn't you think of that?'. It was all black. There were no windows at that room(Know any rooms like that?). I woke up at about 1:00 and ate the 2nd lunch (Clue: Waste not, Want not). After delicious lunch it's time for work (I call it chores). The time I wanted to start, they told me not to do it (cause I'm sick), but I insisted. So I did it, but easier ^^ .
Then we have to go to the hall for some reasons, and I remembered: who is the winner? I asked my teammates but sadly, we didn't win. Then all the workers sat down on chairs on the stage, and that's went the drama began. The manager, co-manager and some others gave us a sad, but wonderful speech about how long they took to plan and do this camp for us. Most of us cried. But some didn't cry, and that was my cousin, and cousin's cousins, who can only put their mind on computers. I don't want to leave here. It's so fun. And of course, I can't bear leaving friends, forever. I felt sorrow. My tears fell down. But no one saw it. That's right, most of them are crying, or trying to cheer up the crying ones. Guess what? Even the workers and helpers cry. And if some people see people cry, they cry.
After this speech, It's time we putted our luggage at the luggage room (there's no room, I meant the back of the hall). then we prepared for the closing ceremony. The winners get to replay their show, and the losers just sit back and watch. Then for the awards. our team won nothing, but our leader won the 'Best Leader Trophy', and then all of us get a cerfiticate. Then some people give us a speech, then it ended.
Farwell freinds......
Farwell...
Bye..
Bye.
We'll meet again.

Clan Jetties

I bet all of you know what's a clan, but a clan jetty? What is it? Ok, I'll tell you what it is. It's a place where it's near to the sea, and, the people live in there. But there are different types of clans, so there are more than 1 jetties. For example the Lim Jetty, or the Chew Jetty, and so on and on. I went to two of those jetties (up there) yesterday, am I'm here to tell you about it.

All this things here are the things I see and my opinions.

If you went there, you would think of your house (For an Malaysian adult) It was so old. To tell you, almost every house over there is the house you can find in Malaysia in the 70's. And 90%( by that i mean most) of the houses over there is made out of wood. And if you have a sensitive nose, you would smell something awful(to me). And, if you look inside the houses, first thing you would see is a statue of their Taoism god. And at some jetties at the end you would find a temple. Also, the waste you do in the toilet comes straight down to the sea! How awful is that? The jetties has became a place of tourism. They also have a jetty competition, and I'm surprised by that. Ok. Enough with my opinions, I'll show you all the jetties down there.

Seh Lim Keo (Lim Jetty)
Seh Chew Keo (Chew Jetty)
Seh Tan Keo (Tan Jetty)
Seh Lee Keo (Lee Jetty)
Chap Seh Keo (Mixed Clan Jetty)
Seh Yeoh Keo (Yeoh Jetty)

You should go and see for yourself! Cause I only went there for an hour and a half only. :p

P.S.Actually I didn't want to go there, I was forced! Because the real place I wanna go is the Megamall shopping for the game Plants vs. Zombies. This note was deleted by me due some reasons.

5 days 4 nights at Buddhist Camp Day 4 2/2

...We all are very excited. You know the winners will get a trophy each person and get to show-off at the closing ceremony. That's why we are excited. There are 3 different types of trophies. The best MV, the best drama, and of course, the best hand language/dance. Cause we are the 4th, we get to practise again our MV. The problem is, there had been changes. Great, now I'm becoming a train for the 1st part, then back to my places in the 2nd part. At least I'm the head of the train, and I get to act after all. So we watched and watched, when the 2nd group started acting, our eyes popped out. It was so great, that I can ensure it's gonna win, they are just so unique, that I can't use words to describe them. And for the 3rd, if I write down everything no one would believe me! When the 3rd started acting, we went on the backstage. Don't ask me how I could see on the backstage, cause... Alright. There is a window, happy? When they finished, we got on stage. We went to our places, and it went perfect, until.... Did you read about the train? Cause we didn't practise it, When the train started surrounding the people the music started. So we have to do it so quickly that you had known: we made a BIG mistake. So after acting still a big wave of applause, but it seemed more quiet than the 2nd team's applause. Sigh, that's what happens if yo make big changes.

After that I felt uncomfortable again, so I have to go to you know, the medic room. It turned out I have to sleep in the medic's, again. So I missed out some of the shows =_= thanks to viruses. After all those shows, I went to rest. Sleep for an hour and something, I went for dinner, and no campers. After I went to medic's not for sleep, for nothing. They told me that there is gonna have a campfire tonight, and ask me if I wanna come, and the answer is a 'yes'.

So after 5 minutes, the campfire started. They started dancing and stuff, while me and the other sick guys watch them fooling around. After they threw a fireball to the wood, the wood started burning, and burning, and burning.

After that, they went for supper, and I went for sleep!

5 days 4 nights at Buddhist Camp Day 4 1/2

I know, i haven't mentioned about the show on that last one, but it was only a practice for the judges to see, and let them improvise it, my bad.

Day 4

I woke up at about 6:15, and quickly brushed my teeth and changed my clothes; or else I'm late for morning lesson. But when I went there, I was late. But because I'm sick, no one really cared. Which was good for me ^^. Cause if i do too much of this thing, I would get asthma. So today there is a trip. We have to split groups and it was so boring. I was in group 5. Good thing. My other friends are in Group 5. After breakfast, which we had to eat on the bus, we went on the bus. Good news is, it is air-conditioned, Bad news, the Group 4 people have to come on the Group 5 bus. Really bad news, the bus is really noisy and they are talking dumb things. So I had avoided all these bad things by the 1 thing that you all have~~~~~~~~~Sleep. Yes, I was so tired any ways that I didn't eat my breakfast. I think I slept for 15 minutes, and the noises of the campers awaken me. They are singing and rehearsing, that I still can hear noises even when I am closing my ears.

Finally, we arrived our destination. it was the home for handicaps. No, in there didn't have people with no eyes or have problem with their ears, all the people in there are just no legs or arms. First, the house manager guided us all places in the home of handicaps. There were a gym, library in the home of handicaps, even a swimming pool! After seeing all those places, we began help them with their work, which was very simple, but hard for them. There are 2 jobs, getting rid of rubber lids of plastic sticks, 2nd, putting the little rubber thingies into the pen lid. I spent most of my time doing Job no.1, and when I am doing that, I asked the handicaps some questions. Like, are you happy? Or, do you like it here? After doing all those work, we performed for the handicaps, then went to another destination.

It was not a 'real' destination, we just stop by there for lunch. While eating lunch, many black-striped mosquitoes came to sting us. It was said If you got sting by that little devil you would get Dengue fever. I bet you wouldn't want that, so some of the mates launched a counter attack, but the ones who attack got stung the most. I got stung, but then I asked for some medicine, and the itch went away. After we went to another destination, the landmarks of Penang. Bad time for a road trip, It was boiling hot walking and walking. We went to the Little India, and I forgot. Didn't do well on remembering names.

At last, went on to the air-conditioned bus. This time, I sat with the helper, due to the reason 'talking annoying things that I can't sleep'. And I could finally can have my quiet piece of time, but it only lasted half an hour. Then back to the camp. The tryout is here. It's to see who's the best of the best. And we are the fourth to do the tryout. To be continued due to special reasons....

(Like, my time is up. I'll continue tommorow. I only can write 1 hour, max.)

Drama class

And it's only 1 day. We went there at 8:00am, after grabbing a egg muffin at Mcdonald's. The class was held at the KOMTAR, which had about 64 floors. We had to do a drama according to a story based like this. It's a bit childlish

Once upon a time, there were 2 planet that were so close to each other it had a bridge to connect those 2 planets. The planets were called cavity planet and clean teeth planet. Cavity planet people's teeth are broken, and the Clean teeth planet's people have clean teeth. What's the cause of the Cavity planet's people's cavities? It's the dirty work of the cavity worm. It loves to break the teeth of the people who don't brush. But one day, the planet's people were sick of their cavities, so all of them went to the dentist and take care of their teeth. Now the cavity worm has noone's teeth to rot. So where did he went? The Clean teeth planet. But that planet has a superhero called Captain Toothbrush. Captain Toothbrush's job is to remind the kids to brush, and cavity worm doesn't want that. At last, he though of a plan. He transformed into a girl whiched selled junk food. Bad junk food that can rot their teeth. The children were stupid so they trusted he/her words. The junk food seller a.k.a the cavity worm said that if you brush your teeth then the smell of the junk food will be gone forever. The kids like junk food. So everytime Captain Toothbrush comes, the kids lie to them that they haved brush.

1 week later,
The kids meet again. A kid said:"My teeth are yellow and black" . Then another kid asked:"How many days you all have didn't brush?" They counted. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7!!!!!!! They all said:"We've all hadn't brush for a week!" One kid said:"The junk food seller lied! We have stinky breath!" Another kid said:"Let's go brush!" All the kids agreed. But when they are about to brush they were shocked. Their teeth had holes and are yellow and black. This is when Captain Toothbrush came. He asked:"Why are you so sad?" They answered:"Our tooths hurt" Ct:"How come?" K:"We lied to you Ct, we didn't brush." Cavity worm appears. Cw:"Haha!Foolish children, I'll rot your teeth and lay little cavity worms!" K:"Eeek!!!!" Cw:"I'll turn your planet into my cavity planet!" K:"AHHHHHH!" Cw:"The only way to save it is to have your teeth pulled out!" K:'(closed their mouth)" Ct wasn't very impressed. He had a battle with him. Cavity worm used his color pencils and driller while Captain Toothbrush used his toothpaste snowball, soon toothbrush man used his Colgate cannon the cavity worm was defeated.

Phew!!!! Got me 1 hour on this one!

Ct=Captain Tooth
K=Kids
Cw=Cavity worm

5 days 4 nights at Buddhist Camp Day 3

Still 6:00. No, not 6:00 pm, am! Again we took our toothbrushes and clothes to the bathroom, and change. But me, I need my own privacy when I change. So I went into the shower stall and changed instead. After changing and brushing, I went up the hall for morning lesson. Yes, I know, pray, pray, and pray again. Afterwards the camp manager told us that today was supposed to be our outing trip, but we have shows today. What shows you may ask, Sigh, have you been reading all my hard work? It's the show that every group has prepared! Then, time for handing out the awards. Our team got the 'Best Team Bracelet', which makes us kinda proud. Also the our helper. They get one too you know. Did I tell you this? I didn't made friends with any of my so called 'teammates', but with the helpers!

No morning exercise. Donno why, probably because of the girl campers are striking for 'girl rights'. I also told you before. Have you been reading???? :( Breakfast. Some rice as breakfast. Imagine that in your daily life, especially when you have to eat it ALL. Sound scary? Not so much. Also practising, for the show. I think it's about time I showed you the it's lyrics.

Phew! Quite a lot isn't it? Sorry no music, but you can find it yourself, It's title is 浪花一朵朵.

We are doing a MV about it. And I'm in the center in the show. No, we are not all about us dancing, also hand language. I can still remember it well although 1 week had gone. Another rabbi(which also means high priest) came to give us a speech, very interested. They putted jokes in it, that's why it's fun. No, I can't tell you the jokes, they are in Chinese, and if I translated them it would not be funny. But, he understands a quite lot about kids, he knows what we are playing and can solve our problems, and thats how my identity when out. You see, they don't know I just came back from Czech, but at that point They mistaken Europe to Australia, until I explained to my fellow friend helpers. They keep asking me questions, but I'm not surprised. Actually I'm kinda glad! I think I have felt what it feels to be....uh....donno. Speaking about Europe, I felt kinda sick while we are playing treasure Bingo. So i have to go and rest for the rest of the day (2 rests, ha ha). And that's where I also meet 2 friends, Zhi Hui and Jia Yi. Actually Jia Yi has a English name, But i didn't ask him about it. They took care of me for the rest of the day including my team's helpers and some people from the camp. Also, they chatting and chatting, even when bedtime because obviously someone had to look after me!(And it's JiaYi ,a high school student who really likes to talk with me, in PerfectEnglish! I slept at 2pm, at the air-conditioned medical room! But never mind, as long I get my rest today.

5 days 4 nights at Buddhist Children Camp Day 2

Guess when did we had to woke up? 6:00 am!! And you thought 9 hours is still not enough for you. Then I, I mean we had to go and change and brush. At about 6:30, we all went to the hall to do a morning lesson. I'll tell you what we do.

We are given each person a paper, laminated, and have to read those things inside. Those poems were some parts of the Buddhist 'Bible'. It was all so holy, you should see for yourself. But some kids come and break the scene. You know how? They took the 'Bible' and fold it, shake it like a fan (that doesn't need electric and no it's not solar powered), and even worse, pick their toenails with it. We knew that by the camp manager announcing: You have done 60% as we expected and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, And some people use the 'Bible' and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. I think it was 15 minutes long. not a very good start for a day, isn't it?

Then the camp manager then gave the 'Excellent Camper Badge', 'Excellent Leader Badge' and the 'Excellent Team Bracelet' to of course, to the excellent ones. Guess what? We didn't get any, how's that? Afterwards we did some morning exercise, which you can say, I've been to hell before. We had to do some physical movements to our teammates, and no. We don't split up a team for boys, a team for girls. Unluckily, I end up with a girl in front of me. Don't look at me (you can't anyway), It's not only me who's suffering, but the girl in front too. How would you like a massage by a boy which is younger than you and you hardly even know him? After 15 minutes, finally over. Thanks a lot, I said to God/Buddha/or whatever. It's just my habit, you know, up there. When something bad happens, I groan to the sky. Not a very good thing to do, especially when a big statue of Buddha is on your back.

After breakfast, we played a game, then a monk, who was a Christian before, came to a give a speech about 'The Life of Buddha'. Wow, that took 2 hours, and it was so interesting that i didn't forget a word he said, only few.

Lunch is served. Veges again. And still have to pray. Sigh, my tounges are dry. Pray this, pray that, its so tough being religous. Don't you think?

Later on we went out side and played the game 五戒, which means the 5 concepts.

I have a concept, and that is don't get wet with your clothes on, and don't get paint on any part of your body. Guess what? They force me to break that concept! I wish you like a guy with a wet, green face! It took 3 hours, and our team didn't even win any competition. Hahahaha.ha...ha......haha....

Then we went inside, of course to take a shower and change, silly! What else?

Then the night lesson. Again praying. And Oh did I mention we are preparing an MV tommorow? It's called 《浪花一朵朵》. It's about the waves. And finally we know what were gonna do. Then dinner. Dinner was sweet, very nice, especially with Mr.Curry with rice. Then we had some midnight activities, then off to bed at 11:00!

Saturday 12 December 2009

5 days 4 nights at Buddhist Children Camp, Day 1

Where have I been in those 5 days 4 nights? Well I'm here to tell you. I went to the 17th Buddhist Children Camp which was located at Butterworth,Penang. Hold your thoughts, this may be a children camp, but it is 60% fun, 40% learning about Buddhism by fun. So how was it? I'll tell you by writing a diary about you know, up there, and enjoy.

The reason I write one day by one is because if i write all together, its gonna take too long.

Note: Buddhism is not a religion, it is a type of education, many people have mistaken. And also the feelings is the feelings that day OK?

Day 1

I had wished I never came. Now my brother can have all the fun at home, including sleep. I have to wake up at 7:45, cause of this camp, my brother can sleep 12 hours a day. After eating breakfast(Wait, I didn't eat anything), I went to the camp at 8:00(don't ask why). When I went there, I think I was a bit early. After getting my name tag, checking my luggage and putting my luggage, I went to the air-conditioned hall and listen to the worker's speeches, about the rules and legacy there, then began to make some things for our team. First we started with song, and it goes like this.

一二三四五六七,

菩提菩提一定行。

加油加油加加油。

爱的鼓励,啪啪啪啪啪啪啪啪啪啪啪。

Can't read? Want me to translate? If it is translated it wouldn't rhyme and have the same beat. So I think I'll skip that, sorry.

If you can read, great! A bit childish isn't it? But that's the best you can do if you only got 600 second, a.k.a. 10 minutes.

We went to lunch. All veges. Even the meat was made out of veges, but it still tastes good.

Then we started the flag, and I didn't get to do anything. Neither planning nor painting. It was done in 30 minutes, and we only had 30 minutes. Guess they can do it without me. It's not good. I feel sorry for the flag. But if we compared it to the others it's quite good.

Then the leader. First we chose a tall guy, but he rejected, so we have to choose a boy named Ling Yong Yu.

The team is done. then we played some games. the games to know each other. I have to say it's kind of fun. So maybe coming here isn't such a bad thing after all. Now I know some names of my teammate. And to be honest, I am the youngest there. it's not very fun i tell you. Then I guess nobody would know if I didn't tell them, and I didn't. Its not fun when someone picks on you, so i kept my age a secret, like girls keep their weight a secret.
Now we have to learn how to pray Buddha, which took 1hour. I have now learned how to do it, in 1 day!!7:30 is time for dinner. We ate veges again, now we have to pray, then we ate.
After that we wrote our diary there (we have to) and write letters to our mate. Mate? OK. It is like this. You draw a card blindfolded, and you have to write a letter for her(boy gets girls. girls get boys). And you musn't let her know who you are. And other people will write a letter for you about how's your day and all that stuff.
After playing some games, we went to bed at 12:00.

Still no Holiday...

Although now is the mighty 2 month school holiday, but us, the 5th graders, have to stay at school for a 9 day tuition, 4 hours a day, while my brother (third grade) goes sniffling around at home. I've heard of the reason(I think so). It's cause we have to learn a quarter of the 6th grade things, so to have to prepare the "most important exam in primary school" while we are back in 2010. But, Luckily me, I will be on vacation at Wednesday(Yippee!).

Just 11.

Well, yesterday was my birthday!!! If you are in a another region as I am, this is the date- 16.10.1998. What have I got, well here it is.

Yesterday, I went to the cinema and watched the latest movie out!!!! It's called "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs". Man, i've been dying to watch that movie. Guess what, I loved it! Just a little bit I that i didn't like is the darn horror movie posters! Hey, I'm not afraid of ghosts, just the killing scenes!

After that, I went to the bookstore, and it was great! Plus, I also picked up a few books I wanted!!

Dinner was fried chicken. Although not as good as KFC's, it's super!!

After dinner, I went checking out the presents. I got some cash and a carum table, just as I wanted.

Then my cousins came, and we played until 10'o clock.

Tuesday 13 October 2009

The day before the day...

Tomorrow, the judgement will come,
Fear will rise, and peace will not be found.
The challenge is, whether you're wise or dumb.
The wise will survive, the dumb will not.

OK, this is a another metaphoric poem.

Tomorrow is the day of exam. Don't get a thought that i don't want to get my reputation ruined, it's just that i don't want to leave my friend.........s. Hey! No finding out about that!

I have no confidence in the test tomorrow. Ask me why? It's to write a malay essay!!!! I haven't communicated with malay 3,plain 3 and a half years!

Really, not many people can survive, not many....

......And the good things

School isn't all that bad, Asian School makes students learn more difficult things than Western schools, and you can eat though not healthy but yummy food like fries, nuggets and colas!!!!

Their lessons aren't all that boring, you can joke, play, and share all your comments! It is free to say out loud (of course not the swear words). And the strict rules keep the school save from anything necessary.

After reading, Brainstorm!

School in MY

After 3 weeks of experience in the government school of MY, I realized, the students here are used to caning. Even though they are used to the whipping of the cold-hearted canes, they didn't drop a tear.

Also, the school was so strict you can imagine yourself in the Ghetto. Any who disobey would be severly punished. And most of the food in the so called canteen aren't even nutrious. And the food are awfully expensive and it ain't got much. If you have to live in a canteen you would be bankcrupt about a month.

But there are good things, of course, the students do not disobey the rules, and there is a 90% chance everyday that they will finish their home work, but we will talk about that soon, Farewell!

Came back...

I have came back to my home town, Malaysia. It's hard to get used to it, once you are in a foreign country for 3 years. So the policies, hygiene, I'm not used to it. Even the language I'm not used to.

So there's a lot of diffrence between Europe and Asia. It's hard to get used to it. But in a while, You wouldn't want to go back to the place where you were staying years ago. I guess once you stayed at a place for days, you would think it as your home. So home isn't that boring, you can do a lots of revising and playing outside, even using the computer.

Do not think Europe's adventure has ended, (psst, there are still 20 countries to be written)

Home town of Josef Lada- Hrusice

Have you ever read the book 《The Good Soldier Svejk》 ? If you had ever read it, you must know the writer Jaroslav Hasek. But did you ever knew the book's illustrator Josef Lada? If you don't, this is what we are going to talk today, But mainly about his hometown- Hrusice.

Josef was born 17 December 1887 in Hrusice - 14 December 1957 in Prague, Josef and Hasek are very close freinds, and his name is known because of illustraiting the book 《The Good Soldier Svejk》.

The city Hrusice treats Josef like a celebrity. You can find at least 1 picture of his drawings almost 1 every km. of course, at parks, boards, sometimes even at menus and restraunts you can find his pictures. They even had his own musuem! Let me show you pictures.

Rust- The town of Storks

I went to the city of Rust, which some of the houses rusts(not really). But this is not the main point. When I looked up the sky, There were many storks resting in their nests, but it's not at the trees, it's on the chimneys!

Luckily those 'volcanos' aren't active anymore. If they are, those eggs up there would be scrambled in less then a hour. I saw that those stork have a 'sea' of their own. People protected a lake only for storks which contained lots of fish that they can enjoy. Some storks stand very still. They stand without moving that you can't tell if it's reallife or fake.

So why are storks treated like celebrities?

In Western culture the White Stork is a symbol of childbirth. In Victorian times the details of human reproduction were difficult to approach, especially in reply to a younger child's query of "Where did I come from?"; "The stork brought you to us" was the tactic used to avoid discussion of sex. This habit was derived from the once popular superstition that storks were the harbingers of happiness and prosperity, and possibly from the habit of some storks of nesting a top chimneys, down which the new baby could be imagined as entering the house.

Since Austria was Western, This myth was believed.

So long!

Boxes!

Boxes, boxes, boxes on the floor,

Boxes besides my bedroom door.

Something tells me I have to leave,

Cause there is no books, no toys, nothing to see!

This poem is written by me. You get what is going on. I'm going back to my own country, and I have to say farewell to Czech republic forever (thats what I think). So the family has to pack and there is nothing to do accept for TV , Computer and some reading on boring magazines.

Chocolate Musuem Prague

So, At my journey to Prague I stopped by to go to the Musuem of Chocolate, which is one of my favourite food. That musuem is opened by people who work at the chocolate musuem at Belgium. Then again,This is not just a musuem which just shows choclate bars, But it is a extreme musuem with various collections of choclate, cool info, and best of all, free chocolate samples!

So I walked in the rainforest of cacoa which was not even 1m far and tons of information about chocolate(the info comes at next paragraphs). Then there was a table which showed lots of accesories for chocolate. Then,(Best Part) I went to the counter and get to see how to make chocolate and got chocolate sample, and get to watch chocolate television! After that, it's a path about sometimes chocolate is good; that's all of the muesuem!

P.S. Don't imagine it very small, I'm sure it's bigger than your garden.

Choco Facts

  • Chocolate prevents cavity

  • If you eat 2 pieces of dark chocolate a week, it will extend your life

  • From healthiest to unhealthiest chocolate: Dark, Plain, Milk, White

  • Chocolate was originally a spicy mexican drink

  • Chocolate got it's name by a Spanish who can't speak Mayan well and misunderstood "choco' as hot and "late" as drink

So Long folks!

Nata

Nata is a popular Portugese pastry, which was also known as Egg Tart, but Portugese do not know what is "Egg Tart".

I tried Portugese egg tart at a pastry restruant in Lisbon. Guess what? I was so addicted to it's flavour and demanded more. But after that I reached my limit. Not that I couldn't eat any more, but i am banned from eating more.

Nata is like this:
Recipe coming soon...

Nachos

I guess there is not much people in Europe is not familiar with the word "Nachos". If you don't know what is Nachos, It's a Mexican snack, also known as corn chips.

I made "real" Nachos, as you can see some Nachos are not original Mexican when they are add flavoured. So I opened up the 《Fun to learn Cook Book》,and followed the recipes.

I bought a all original corn chips, grated cheese, kidney beans and tomato.

1.Preheat oven 180.C
2.Grate cheese, set aside.
3.Open can. Drain Beans. Turn into sieve. Rinse under cold running water. Drain. Put in saucepan.
4.Chop tomato. Put in sauce pan.
5.Place saucepan over a medium heat. Cook , stirring for 5 minutes.
6.Place corn chips around edge of ovenproof dish.
7.Spoon bean mixture into centre of dish.
8. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 10 minutes.
9. Enjoy!

This is my second junior recipe to cook and I rated it A+. Delicous!

Field trip day 2

Day 2 33%

I woke up late, due of playing too late at the pool table. So, I a breakfast, not just any breakfast, special Czech breakfast-------bread with butter.

After eating ‘special’ breakfast we had to go and change in to proper clothes. I don’t need to; I’m always in proper clothes. We went to the woods and played a game. Juniors, (1-4 grades) have to take a paper and make the two pages have 16 boxes. They have to copy down the pictures copied. The seniors (others) have to catch them and cross one of the pictures out and go away. I caught (guess what grade I am) 10 people and crossed their pictures out.

Day 2 66%

Lunch was something you can call ‘popular’. Its spaghetti; after many people finished it, they went to the cook room and demanded more and more. I ate 3 bowls of spaghetti due stricken by famine.

So I wrote a postcard and send it home, and traded cards in the 2 hour break. I finally battled with the Yu-Gi-Oh (a card game) master, which happened to be my room mate.
He finished me of in 2 minutes, which wasn’t very fun.

We went outside again, and had a competition, who can make the best house with sticks. My team, made an Aztec Temple. It was made of sticks, leafs, cones and mud.
Unfortunately we were 2nd place, seems like some more builders beat me at building. Besides this activity, people who hate building are racing, but no prizes for winning.

Day 2 34%

The prizes were given before dinner. We also played a tournament in pool, which raised our experience in pool gaming. I got only a Package of Kinder chocolateL, but at least I even got a prize!

Dinner was meatloaf. Not so delicious actually. After dinner, Grade 4 and up went to the woods and learned some ways to make a big fire. We learned the way “teepee”. We have to build a tent and then put kinder wood (baby wood) on top and inside to make it burn. Our challenge was to make the fire light for at least 10 minutes. It was raining, so no one won.

At night we (seniors) watched the movie <> which people voted since <> 2 didn’t work (too bad, I recommend the 1 choice more).

Wedding

Today is a marriage of Mika( my piano teacher) and Petr, At the Church St. Peter which happens to be very near the centrum.

Not many people attended to the wedding( by I mean many is 200-300), but it's as grand as other Christian weddings.

First we took a picture with those two couples who are getting married, then we formed pairs and made a 'pair line'.

After the church door was open, all the attenders(including me) went in the church and standed next to the chairs like a lumpy fence which welcomed those two. Grand organ music was putted on. When those 2 went up the steps, which was a area with preists, we went to our seats, but didn't sit.

The high preist standed behind the table which had a book, and started reading about the marriage thing which was in Czech, and also the time when we sat.

They also sang holy songs about 2 times, which was very loud and religous.

After 30 min(Wow 0_o) the high preist brought the rings and those 2 helped each other to put them on, and then they kissed.

Then we made a fence again, and we straighted out to shake hands and gave gifts to those married people, and we got some pastries.

My DIY meal

As I can see all of you who are reading this know what does DIY means (In case you don’t I don’t know why it means do it your self). So, I got my body which was glued to my bed and to the study room and started to research my museum of books. I founded the treasure book Fun to learn Cook book and also a bunch of old collection of dust and dirt.

Ok, So I was very hungry and starving so I chose an easy recipe called ‘Eggs in a Frame’. It looked nice; and I got all the tools needed: scales, cookie cutter, frying pan, and a nice simple cup. I also got 2 slices of bread, some butter and 2 eggs.

I disobeyed the book a bit; I used these steps:

Use a cookie cutter to cut center out of bread
Place butter in frying pan. Heat until butter melts and sizzles
Place bread on pan. Cook until golden
Break an egg and put it to a bowl. Pour the egg into the hole in the bread. Repeat with remaining egg and bread.
Fry until eggs are cooked.

My meal’s image is like this:

But because I’m not even a junior cook, my meal turned out like this:

Field trip: Day 1

Day 1⅓
Well Day 1 basically means Monday, since school is closed in weekend. So this Field trip is the 3rd one I had, and probably the most exciting field trip I‘d ever been. This field trip is at the city Nedvedice, which is not far away from Brno.
Well, I woke up in my newborn bedroom, which had been rehabilitated from a dungeon to heaven, without an alarm clock 7 o’clock in the morning. I took my luggage and bag which was resting on the bed room door and tossed it downstairs (not really, just my habit, toss things downstairs while at the 7th step of the stair sideways). Breakfast was simple, as usual; just bread with ham. After putting my I coat on and got my baggage and sack and I’m off to the 26 bus from the stop Udolicek to Cejkovicka.
I waited in the school cloakroom for the bus to arrive. While waiting, I chit-chatted with some friends of mine about this field trip. “Time flies like an arrow” some people said; this expression was there while I was waiting in the cloakroom. The bus arrived in a while; I sat with my brother in the bus then in 1 hour we were departing of the bus and rushed towards with our belongings to the Hotel Myslivna which was welcoming us.

Day 1⅔
The Hotel was nice; it had two kinds of pool; a swimming pool and a pool table. It also had also a Kid’s Garden filled with playground toys. We ate lunch in the Restaurant which served soup, tea and rice with salt sauce. I decided to share my room with my own continent friends, Andy and Kenta (No prizes for guessing which continent I come from).
At the 2 hour break we started sharing our treats, trading cards, playing cards, unpacking, and playing with nature.
We were outside after the break and were playing games in the forest. We were forcing ourselves to walk farther and explore more. I got revenge by nature all right; I screamed as loud as I could as soon as I saw a snail in front of my face. We discovered a catnip meadow full of scent; till rain poured all over on our face. We finally found our way back to the warm cozy hotel and kept ourselves in the room away from the dreadful weather outside.

Day1 end
After dinner we (grade 5 and up) played pool for 1.5 hours, while the others went to bed. I learned the basic rules of pool and I started to do a practice tournament. At 10 o clock, I went to bed with others.

Sports day at International School of Brno(ISB)

At 17 June 2009 at ISB was Sports day, which means all day was sports!I was in the team called All Stars, which had the folllowing players: Jane,Mohhamed,Joy,Patrick,Isha, Drul,Cotone my little brother and me.

There were the other 5 teams; The Pumas, Terminators,Awesomeness,Shockers and Cool People. We 1st had a opening ceremony, which contained our national team flag and anthem. Our flag was like this:

This flag was done by paint, the actual flag had team member names on it.

So, Here are the games list: Basketball run, Dizzy football, Marshmallow mania, Quick dress up, Water Rush and Black out rush.

Basketball run has nothing to do with basketball, except for the ball. We have to do the passing in the order: down,up,down ,up. When you pass to the last person on the field you have to run to the front and repeat this. Our team got 27 points at this game.

Dizzy football, you have to turn around a pole 5 times, then dizz run then kick the ball in the goal.

Our team got 108 points at this game.

In Quick dress up, you have to put on some really big clothes(scarf, jacket that you have to zip, gloves and hat) as fast as you can and run through the tunnel then write your name at the blackboard.

The time for all the players to do that was 9:01 minutes.

At marshmallow mania some one has to kneel down without using hands, and others have to throw in marshmallows in his mouth. If he gets it, it's a point.

Our team got 9 points at this game.

In Water rush you have 2 buckets 10 m away. The bucket that is in front of you is full of water. You have to take a sponge and soak water then squeeze the water to the 2nd empty bucket.
For doing this 1~5 minutes, you get 3 points. For doing 5~10 minutes, you get 2 points. For doing 10~15 minutes, you get 1 point.

We got 3 points at this game.

Blackout rap, you have to have a cloth closed around your eyes, than you have to dribble the ice hockey ball around cones, without touching the cones!

Our team got 15 points at this game.

Alas, we finished the sports day. Our team was the 4th, out of the 6 teams!

Poem of Dandelion

Dandelion he's no fungi,

He is a yellow girl who's a bit shy,

At 1 special night it will change it's clothes,

From the shiny yellow t-shirt to silent white cloak.

The golden's pal's life is so short,

After a week to the heaven's port.

The wind blows the cloak away,

The fur becomes life in another day.

Revoloution!(kind of)

Today is labour day; a day where you don't have to work, but some people don't follow the rules......

'Some' people are at the centrum of Brno. You know they freak me out. I feel like Anne Frank* in my secret Annex; hiding from Hitler. They are having a 'little' project about sweeping away foreigners out of their country. Some people say they are 'locos'. But I quiet agree with them. I mean, how would you like it if someone busts in you're house and stays there all day all night? Despite the example, they still don't have to be so mad to get us out,and were not like the ones who broke their economic crisis. It's disrespectful! Is it how they treat their guests?Take a stick and force us out?If you just bust out to the centrum, some hyperactive ones will rush to you and beat you up. Polices don't care about their project; but they are there to protect you if they ever do something 'unsensible' to get us out of their house. Could they ever imagine a country without foreigners? No, because that will break the tourism of their country and it'll be silent like death.

Myself; who am I?

I’m a machine that was bought by my master 2 weeks ago. He bought me in a shop called LIDL. He made loads of children named waffles with me by following the recipes. He decorates and eats my children after I made children with flour, sugar, eggs and butter.

Do you know who am I? If you’re guessing waffle maker you’re right. In case you don’t know what a waffle maker is, it’s a machine that makes waffles.

I can make 2 waffles at a time. I have 3 different children; apple waffle, waffle and ham waffle. Apple waffle is the sweetest one of all in mine children, even though waffle is sweet too. The saltiest one of my children is ham waffle. He’s complicated, not many people understand him much. Waffle is the one who is most famous. He’s name is known almost in every country.

Every time I make waffles, I have to say good bye to them in 5 minutes, watching them get eaten by my master. Some times when I’m too angry, my children get a “black death” (fried) disease which my master likes to eat the most.

But when I’m in a good mood, I will make perfect little waffles who my master always praises to them. They sometimes experiment to make even better waffles. E.g. Sausage waffles.

Now, will you excuse me, I have to sleep now.

The British\American class War!

In History, there's the American civil war, but in my class, there's the student civil war; the fight between American and British children, and that's one of my reason why I enjoy school!

In the first war, the British made fun of the Americans accent like "Howdy partner, do you want to go to cowboy town and shoot someone tonight?" And the Americans stroke back"Hey chap,do you want to get some tea tonight?"
While I was on the British side(just sitting there), they got some allies( from other countries). But the 1st war ended while they got off the bus.

In the 2nd war, they were making a tiny war just because of "jelly" reading.Americans said it was suppose to be called jello. But Brits say it was jelly. In the middle of the war the Americans keep "jello"ing around, The Brits said "wobble off jelloman!" to them. The war lasted until they were reading a class paragraph whiched showed jelly.

April's Fool!

Today is the first day of April,1st of April;April Fool. The children only said easy tricks like your shoes/zipper's untied. But me, have a trick repel. I won't be tricked;instead I tricked them. For example: Student A was standing at the cloakroom. I told him that the principal wants to see him. He does not believe it, But then I told him it's about his mom, he rushed to the principal's office.

There's a guy called studentX had almst fooled a guy, student Y, by taking a new pair of trousers and said he took his trousers off. And he was trying to look at it, but StudentX didn't realise it.

By the way, do you know I ate a piece of Lego?

Germany

Talk about Lions, makes me remember about Munich Town. What's Munich town? Well let's just say it's a beautiful town...... Munich is a town where there is Legoland and approximately about 202 lions. Well there is a time for facts.... Munich is the 3rd largest city in Germany. At the mean time Munich is located on the River Isar north of the Bavarian Alps.

The lions are not the same. The lions changed the colours and the pattern. Here is the picture from the Magnificent Munich that i captured(Picasafied):

But I must say, the best thing was not finding treasure(lions), but Legoland at Germany(don't know where)!Even though Disneyland Paris is bigger, but there were limits. I was too short to fit in;and Legoland, I don't have to wait for the lines and i can ride all the rides i want!

Skiing!

After defeating carsick, I've went to the ski area at ???. I've(we've) hired a ski teacher to teacch me. After the cool warm up, I've learned my first technique, the snow cloud. It is used for going and breaking. After 2 times, I had learned a new move. the anti snow cloud. it's for you know, opposite, walking up instead of down. The skiing was tottaly awesome! Too bad Mother nature is gonna eat the ice cream(winter).

Sledging fun!

Winter has turned freaky! Check out the precipataion! 1 and a quater day snowing in a row! Speaking of snowing, any one intrested in sledging, well if you do, it is the right time for sledgingh fever to be spreaded out! Sledging doesn't need training, well maybe a little. Even a 3 yeared old kid can sledge alone. Sledging can be free! You just need to find a slope and a material to sledge with. For example for ploastic bags or card boards. But i suggest it would be best to you a plastic material one or a wooden sledge. The 19th century's England sure knows how to entertain and invent! Can you imagine sledging in 19th century? Then again, problably yes. But be careful at sledging, cause you know what? sledging can kill! and this time, i'm not joking. If you sledge too close to the roaad, you'll get hit by a car.

My poem

This is my poem from school about Holocaust. Hope you like it!
O God,
My holy saviour,
will you do me a favor?
Help me from those beastly brutes,
Their gonna make me scream till my voice goes mute,
Untill they finish their odd ordinances,
Their gonna turn me into a woman, handless
I'm like their thundershocked target,nemesis
O god,Please save my ford, where lives my little pod.
I had arguements withmy husband, who was so innocent.
We had often fight with no any rights which people saw by sight.
Abraham O Abraham, please take my syns away. With your master kindness and undreadfulness you can help me solve this time.
The hiding is like a puzzle, which makes us nuzzle. We can't solveit even Mr.dussel and this makes us muzzle.
Hitler isn't gonna leave us petrified,he's gonna leave us breathless, die.
Even I'm the only one left, some one will soon visit me,death.
The world is what do you call it cruel, no matter how you look at it it's uncool.
Don't make the day finally come, wherewe will be crushed.
Oh lord,Oh lord, please untie the knots and finally i will happily nod.

Religous Lesson-Jewish

Period 1
Today, I've had finally went to the Jewish Cemetery! We went there by the train number8. We've went there after 11stops. We've went there taking peace, calm, kindness and cameras. we were only allowed to take one memorial picture, and only whisper and don't shout. We were as silent as a grave, well not really, we've whispered a bit. We had saw many graves. My translater freind told me that most of them died in concertration camp. After solving a way out out of the chiming garveyard, we've went back to school.
Period 2
We had did a cleanery before going out to break, then we're off. in the 2nd lesson, we disgussed about the holocaust and been given the paper to read. We read that most of the Jews were shot and poisoned than starved to death. Only the men who had work had a chance to survive,25%. The jews were just so as innocent as a lamb. Talking about lamb, they were treated like lamb. They had their wool cutted of and beign sent to C. camp by sheep cars and also beign slaughtered.
Period 3
We've watch Anne Frank's epiode5, the last chapter. We had saw them sent into camps, because of the Nazis. I knew that everyone kept their tears inside,75%, only didn't show them out. After that, we've did a project called "Why do people have to be treated the same". And we also talked about the Holocaust, again.

VBA(Visual Boy Advance)

VisalBoyAdvance is a Gameboy/GBA emulator for Windows. The VisualBoyAdvance (also known as VBA for short) has more functions than a GBA(Game Boy Advance). VBA can cheat, hack, or change the game however you like. The often cheats are used in VBA are action replay codes, Gameshark codes, and codebreaker codes. E.G. My game (Pokemon Ruby)'s trainer can walk on water and break the walls. However, it may not have all the equipment that a GBA needs. Like a link cable and wireless adopter. although of that,VBA desn't need money to download, it's free. But for the games, only some are free.

Swan Lake-Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky

Swan Lake, One of the famous creations by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky,a Russian composer, including the "Nutcracker". Swan Lake is just more than a song, it represents the dramatic Russian story ,as well a German legend,of The Hero(Prince), the Evil(Witch), and The Cursed(Swan). The story which brings sadness was born in 1876,an age which is about to grow dark. It was first performed at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia at the date of January 15, 1895.

Speaking about swan lake, The mighty prince(me=) Italic words for sarcasm) went to the theatre at the central of east Brno. I sat a VIP seat with a bunch of people. I watched all the show about for 3 hours, and i didn't fall asleep, because i had so much energy. The show was good, andit's really dramatic. I wish i could watch another of is creations, "The nutcracker". The best part is when the evil prince vs. the real prince. The costumes are cool, more like the clothes of future instead of the past. The music? It's awesome. The best part at the VIP seat is, I can see all of the music players!

The reason I like this Novel because it slowly give out the clues and the characters in the story are linked into the past. I like Hector Zeroni(Zero) the most, Although people say he is dumb, he is not. He just doesn't like to answer their questions.
This book istouching and smart. The reason i'd put smart is cause it is like all other good books, giving detial slowly, building tention slowly, and best of all, smart clues.

A happy 2009...... Or is it!

People were happy about the 2009's. They think this would be a new start. It is a new start. It's a new start for 95%peace and 5 % chaos. Let me explain you the '5%' chaos.

Firstly, The Isreals are sending tanks to Gaza and made the Gaza a peaceful place into Earth's hellplace. The worst thing is, America doesn't do anything!

Secondly, The Bangkok strike ha strandled about a 1000 people in the airport, which made them can't celebrate a new year with their family.

And last, greek teens are striking the whole europe!!!!

But look on the bright sight, it's only 5%!
